Swimming Pool Murals

This was a fantastic opportunity to use many of our skills on one project.
We were faced with a large indoor swimming pool room devoid of any decoration as it was a new build. The brief was to make this huge room feel luxurious and cosy, in a classical style.
We presented the client with a dozen or so initial schemes, then made more detailed drawings for the preferred design, hand drawn and computer aided. The result was this Pompeiian themed decoration.

Having contacted the relevant swimming pool associations throughout the UK, and sourced the best advice, we know how important it is to use the right materials for an indoor pool, and to take into consideration temerature change, humidity, condensation, and chemicals all involved in the everyday running and maintenance. When employing someone to create your pool mural scheme, these are the most important factors to address from the outset. As with most of our work, but particularly with pools, the longevity of our work depends on a well prepared surface, and a properly protected one!
