The painted cactus was the only part of this mural to be painted in a trompe l'oeil manner, with the effect that most people passing would give the plant a double take.

It was a great opportunity to produce a painting in such a contemporary house and was a challenge to make it work.
The mural has now become an integral part of the decorating of this family's house, which is as much a testament to them as it is to ourselves and the interior designer who commissioned us.
