Painted Trompe Panels

The staircase in this grand Edwardian house demanded the inclusion of painted trompe l'oeil panelling to add to its charm.

With three floors to paint, this was no mean feat.
The coving and skirting board are real, yet on closer inspection, it can be seen that the panels themselves are completely painted!
