Nursery Decoration - Decorating Baby Nursery

This baby's nursery ceiling mural had an illustrative feel to it reminiscent of childrens book illustrations.

Childrens poems and verse were included in the mural to help as a creative stimulus for the baby.

The client was particularly keen on not using modern cartoon imagery, but to convey a classical timeless feel. Practically, this may allow the room to age better with the child.

As in all our childrens murals, acrylic paints are used, since they are low odour, non toxic. The walls are finally protected with an extremely hard wearing varnish which is easily cleaned.
