Moroccan Interior Wall Paint Finish

This wall finish was inspired by the texture of the linen curtain fabric that was used in this Moroccan styled guest bedroom.

We painted a deep red colourwash on the walls of the dressing room beyond, which worked beautifully with the dark wooden furniture. 

Cross weaving effect of the paint finish can be seen in this closeup. With such an intricate paint finish, the brushwork needs to be kept as regular as possible in order to continue the sense of an unbroken weaved effect.
